While killing a little time getting the tires on my car rotated, a new The ATLANTAN magazine caught my eye. I started going thru it and came across a full page ad for the 2014 Bully Ball featuring a beautiful English Bulldog in a tutu. The ball is put on by the GA ENGLISH BULLDOG RESCUE (GEBR) with the purpose of raising money for medically neglected and homeless English Bulldogs. At the bottom of the page was a logo for Brian Batista Photography I couldn’t wait to get back to a computer and send him an email….I WANTED to help Brian shoot this event. BINGO!!! He was glad to have to me and I was MORE than THRILLED to help him cover the event. I was so impressed with the amount of work that it took to put this event together and completely overwhelmed with the turnout and the amount of money raised. There are so many special and caring people in the Atlanta area! I have “liked” the Ga English Bulldog Rescue on FaceBook and am now reminded daily that there are SO many irresponsible and uncaring people that feel it’s ok to leave their pets behind when they move, or turn them into high kill shelters or put them out anywhere they want too. The GEBR has such a great reputation for helping English Bulldogs that shelters call the GEBR to pick them up and get them the help they need. I love all animals big and small…basically anything with 4 legs and fur is special to me.. English Bulldogs are by far my favorite dog breed and to have an rescued English Bulldog makes them even more special. Rescue animals know they have been rescued and are so full of love and devotion for the gift of a forever home.
Here are some of the pictures from this great event held at the St Regis Atlanta.
